Defend American Ideals, Pacific Legal Foundation, and Pacific Research Institute invite you to join us for a virtual discussion on “The Rise of Reparations.”
California’s reparations task force has recommended that the Golden State pay qualifying black residents up to $1.2 million annually as compensation for past discrimination. The figures are fantastical and any legislation mandating payment could be unconstitutional.
At this virtual Zoom event, distinguished speakers will discuss the moral, social, legal, and historical aspects of reparations proposals that have surfaced in California and across the country.
